Speech Server Attendant system greetings and operator transfer points can be programmed
to behave differently based on time of day, day of week, and holidays.
The tuning tool provides a simple method for creating and maintaining dictionaries of new
name pronunciations. When the Speech Server Attendant is unable to recognize a particular
name, the tuning tool can be used to ensure that the Speech Server Attendant will recognize
the name.
The Speech Server Attendant activates a tutorial for first-time callers by default, providing
help for setting up a new PIN, name recording, and speaker verification enrollment.
The Speech Server Attendant features a web browser-based graphical user interface by which
subscribers can manage their accounts and personal directories, and system administrators
can manage users, groups and classes of service.
The Mitel Networks Speech Server Voice Portal is provided as an option on the Speech Server
Attendant. The Enterprise Speech Portal option enables the development and hosting of
VoiceXML (VXML) scripts. This provides for speech access to various types of data and
applications.
